| Another day, another final, another year down and out. What a year it has been too. Ready to cash in my chips though and just not worry about grades and all that junk. This summer, so far, I will be working at Apol's landscaping in Caledonia. Probably going to be a fun job... as soon as I buy some sunscreen. This summer, going to see Heaven and Hell (Black Sabbath with Ronnie James Dio on Vocals) with Megadeth, and Machinehead, Rush, and Dream Theater with Into Eternity, not to mention the other concerts I've already seen this school year (Trivium, Blind Guardian, Children of Bodom, Eric Clapton, and Dimmu Borgir)... all in all really sweet. Went to Prom again. Hopefully, I'll get some pictures back from that, since I haven't seen any yet. Heading back to the homely tomorrow morning.... miss me??? | | |
| Hey folks, It's February. So, a bunch of people are coming by this weekend. Hope you're one of them... anyways, I have no exciting news... Cory is no longer at MSU, I just got over pink eye, I'm taking voice lessons, I love Kayla, and I rock n roll... that's about it... hope to see everyone this weekend | | |
| So HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Been pretty busy... had a good Christmas... got Kayla an iPod Nano and the Spiderman movie, got my brother the God of War video game and the Danger Mouse dvd set, got my dad a giftcard to Kansas City Dip n Grill, got my mom a new blanket and a picture, got my stepmom the Polar Express soundtrack, and got my stepdad some fishing lures. I got a bunch of cool stuff too though... a digital camera, some cds (Dio, Iron Maiden, Weird Al Yankovic, Dream Evil, and a Twisted Sister Christmas), some dvds (radiohead, eric clapton, judas priest, and in flames concert dvds and the newest godzilla movie, and one i'm going to exchange), some clothes, and some odds and ends (hot sauce, beef jerky, assorted nuts, cookies... etc)
Kayla's birthday was new years eve. She wanted to go sledding, but no snow... so we had a bunch of people at BW3's: Mike, Phil, Briggs, Aaron, Chris Klein, Brad, Will, Nick, Erica, Heather, and Kat (and probably more that I'm just forgetting) celebrated with Kayla and I. After that, Heather, Kat, Brad, Will, Nick, Erica, Briggs, Kayla, and I went to Briggs's house for some Kareokee Revolution and Shrea and Amelia stopped in. After that, we ran some errands and made our way to Kelly's house for new years... pretty good all-in-all... then Kayla, Heather, and Kat stayed over and we all watched GREASE!!!
Spent lots of time with all the crew this winter. Went to Applebee's one night with such a big group, we couldn't get all of us at one table, even pushing tables together!!! Some people on the A-list were Aaron, Blik, Dobbie, Cory, Nick, David, Brian Roberson, Brad, Briggs, Gora, and most likely others... some of us hung out at Mike's warehouse after that too. Speaking of Mike, he nearly got kicked out of Noshville when me, him, Chris, Nick, and Dobbie all went there. Chris, Mike and I jammed the next day... and before that, I had Evocation practice...
Evocation has a show on the 19th of January at Skelletones... be there, folks... | | |
| Wow... have I been busy or what! Let's see... what's all new... OH! We are living in Twykingham next year, you know, the apartments with the midevil tourrette out front. Cory, Paul, Scott, and I will be living together... still got to draw straws and such to figure out who gets which room and all. August 15th is move-in day, so we'll be at State a little early, but it's okay... From there, we'll probably go camping again. I really want to do that again this summer. Last summer, it was Evan, Chris, David, TeBos, Brad, and me Been seeing a lot of concerts lately. Saw Trivium with The Sword, Sanctity, and Protest the Hero with Nick, Jake, and Kayla. Went to see Soilwork with Kyle A, Joe, Cory, Brad, Kayla and my brother Kyle, but their Visa was revoked, and they were sent back to Sweden, so we watched some other bands (i.e. Threat Signal and Nothing Is Sacred) for free. Saw Blind Guardian with Miles Beyond and Leaves' Eyes with Paul and Briggs. Just this last weekend, Kyle A, Joe, Paul, Chris, and I saw Children of Bodom with Sanctity, Gojiora, and Amon Amarth. All really amazing. Stayed the night at Brad's apartment at UofM 3 times this year... all had been pretty sweet.... hung with him and Amelia, Jake, Alex, Monica, Mark, and a bunch of other people. Stayed at Paul's in Wixom with Briggs after the Blind Guardian concert as well... Paul stayed at my place too though. Probably heading up to Central this weekend though... we'll see how studying for finals goes. Classes are almost over, which will be nice to go home and go back to work, weirdly enough. I need some extra money for any possible concerts coming up, not to mention this summer for camping and next year for rent and all that good stuff. Watched the Aristocrats the other night. Definately a good movie. You should all see it... lol, who knew Bob Saget could be so funny. | | |
